Polsilver SI Or Perma- Sharp?

I have recently tried the Polsliver SI and really liked them. I was just about to pull the trigger on 100 of these when I noticed one of our supporting vendors now stocks Perma-Sharp. My question is for those of you who have used both of these blades how do they compare?

I know blades are YMMV, but if you tried both I would really like to know your impressions.

Polsilver SI felt smoother to my face. Perma-Sharp are nice blades but for me they didn't shave as smooth as Polsilver SI.

I get a closer/better shave from perma-sharps. For me, they're my go to blade. The polsilver is nice, but I find that I have to work a little harder to get the BBS with it.

I think Perma-Sharp Supers would get far more mention here if only they were more widely available. They come from the same St. Pete plant as so many other great blades and, for me, they are about as good as the best coming out of that plant SIs included, and I should know - I bought 500 SIs but also bought 400 Perms. You should definitely give them a try. I can swap you a couple packs if you want to try before buying.

Both are excellent blades IMO. The Polsilver shave very good but I like the shave from the Perma Sharp blades better. It's only nuances better. But the Perma Sharp blades are by far cheaper.

If I find a bulk buy at a good price, I will jump on it.... They are great blades, in the Gillette St Pete plant tradition... As good as any St Pete blades I have used....

Though the SI is a great blade, I find the Perma Sharp Super to be even better - sharper, smoother, and longer-lasting. I use the Perma Sharp exclusively, with an occasional dip into my stash of SI's. I've been using an SI this week. Though I'm getting nice results, it's no match for my Perma Sharps.

I bought a few hundred from the Turkish website for $20 per hundred with free shipping because I exceeded their limit. You can also throw in some Arko sticks for next to nothing, and give the Arko creams a try if you want.

I just ordered polsilver SI. Perma sharp is my top blade. Sharp and smooth. Hope that polsilver will be even better.

Just shaved with polsilver. I think it is a good blade but not as good as perma sharp

I like PolSIlver and have been using them exclusively since I can buy them in a brick-and-mortar perfumery nearby for about 45¢ a pack of five.

After reading through the latest threads and rumors about PSI being out of production I was reminded I have been wanting to order 100. I pulled the trigger for 100 at $17.00. I haven't used Perma-Sharps for awhile so maybe I need 100 of those too!
