"We realize that, upon discovering the joys of traditional wetshaving, it is natural for some members to develop strong feelings about a particular brand(s) and/or product(s) they have recently discovered. A certain degree of passion is healthy and, it goes without saying, you are welcomed and encouraged to share it with the board. Indeed, this is one of the premises upon which this forum was founded!
However, like anything else, there can be too much of a good thing. If left unchecked, exuberance for a new discovery can cross the line between "enthusiasm" and "proselytizing." Therefore, we expect that members will refrain from unduly repetitious posts about any given product. There are a lot of wonderful products out there, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but remember, no one needs to be hit over the head time and again about how much you like a particular product, as if you were a commissioned salesman for that product. As much as you may like a particular product, that positive reaction is only your opinion, and not everyone is required to share it. Enthusiasm is great; excessive, repetitive posts about the same product are tiresome and unwelcome, and may result in an admonition or other penalty, in the sole discretion of the Moderators."
