pocket straight?

Hey guys, on my search across the information highway I cam across this little thing. http://www.gatewayknives.com/Rough-Rider-Jigged-Bone-Razor-Trapper-Knife-p352.html It's a pocket knife with a straight razor blade. This one is a only a small one, but as I looked more into it, I found ones with 3-4 inch blades. Now here come the question. Can you really shave with this thing? Or is it more for utility use? Would be quite handy.

I don't think I'd trust a Rough Rider folding straight. If there was a reputable company or maker that went into this it would certainly be profitable, I'm sure. Shaving with a smaller, travel sized razor wouldn't be an issue at all.

I wouldn't try it...Notice the curvature of the blade on the "straight" razor? I think its mostly intended for delicate cutting/slicing work, like a scalpel maybe, and not really a shaving razor?

For that price, there's no way I would trust it to shave with. Additionally the mechanism doesn't fold in a manner that's conducive to shaving.
