Please help me with this Clement brush

i recently happen to come across my dad's shaving brush which has not been used for over 14 years and seems to be in perfect mint condition. my dad might have used it just a few times in the mid 90s
it says Clement London on it.
i tried doing a search for this, but cant seem to find this on the internet

Is anyone on board using this similar brush currently?. i would be pleased to find a perfect decent stand for this. need help

i have a double mind to put this shaving brush to use because it has sentimental value

Beautiful brush...you should put it to use for sure.

I have no idea about the maker...but not using it would be a shame.

That's a beautiful brush..I've never seen that particular brush before...the good news is that the knot appears to be in beautiful condition, I would start using it in your rotation right away!! :)

correct me if i am wrong here..
the whole idea of rotation is having 2 or more shaving brush of the similar kind and using each of them alternatively ?

I'm no expert but I wouldn't be surprised if that was a re-branded Rooney. Perhaps Clement was a boutique or specialty shop (like T&H) and commissioned Rooney to provide brushes.

the whole purpose is that, i dont want to ruin it as i still dont consider myself an expert in wet shaving

That's right.

By the way, Charles Clements was a retailer in the UK; the chain sold straight razors and accessories (such as brushes). Probably the brush was manufactured and branded specially for them.

might be, because this brush was sitting with my dad since 1991 to be precise

and my dad was never a wet shaver, so he must have used this brush once or twice then kept it away, only for me to find it last month

The only ruin to that fine brush will be if it collects dust.

Lather that fine one up and shave with satisfaction of knowing you have saved it from never fullfilling its destiny.
