Plastic Gillette DE

Does anybody know anything about this pair of plastic handled Gillette DE razors I received this weekend?
they are both marked Made in England and they both have what must be a date code stamped on the base plate. (4X & 3Y)

Looks like Gillette Tech 80's

According to this post in the Wiki, the date code suggests 1977 and 1978 for these.
I always assumed that the last Techs were the aluminium version. I didn't realise they then moved into the world of plastic before they stopped producing them.
Has anyone else got an example of these? Different colours maybe or from different countries?

i have the same razor, its a made in england tech, a family friend from italy gave me it, i also have the same razor with a black handle.
