Pipe equivalent of a BBS

Well yesterday I achieved a Holy Grail moment in my pipe.
I packed the tobacco (Peterson's Connoisseur's Choice), did the prelight, tamped slightly and lit it for real.
And.... smoked it to the end without another relight at all!!!

Kind of cool for a pipe noobie.

The times I can pull that off are still pretty rare, so I can relate to the sense of accomplishment for sure.

Awesome, I can do that when I'm not bsing too much or reading a book.

It is nice when it works out that way. I have the best luck accomplishing that with a cob full of Carter Hall. Not that I mind relights at all but it's nice not having to fuss with it especially during the commute. For some reason I never seem to get a red light when I actually want one to tend to the pipe!
