Pike Emerald Hone, nice and green when its wet!

Well I had scored a Pike Emerald Hone off of ebay. I do not know anything about it! I had heard that some of the hones had been imported material but that was about it.
Any info is appreciated.

All I know is it's a moderately valuable ($50+ when I've seen them sold) synthetic barber hone.

It turns a really nice green when it is wet! It is pretty impressive!
