Parker 89R first Shave

So I know many people told me dont buy it but i was like wth let me just try it!! I been using my beloved Edwin Jagger DE89 Barley Chrome and Muhle R41 for my regular shaves and have been very satisfied.

Parker arrived today!! I took it out of the box, wasn't as heavy as I thought i will be but it looked good, the finish was very rough and as accepted from an Indian made product but over all the handle length is really nice.

Shave was quite amazing, i am a big fan of gillette shave gel and it was quite smooth and almost as near as my Muhle R41 shave standards, all in all not a bad deal for $ 27!! Its worth a try. Dont expect german quality from an indian product but the shave was one of the best i ever had and i have pretty damn fast and thick beard growth

Glad to hear your realistic pros and cons. Parkers 3 pieces are quite aggressive heads and loaded with sharp and smooth blades it really shines against the tough whiskers. I don't have that barber pole handle but maybe order that later because it's a great handle. I have it in my 99R (TTO).
I don't any more use gillette gel but earlier that was my favorite because it's a good slick stuff. Enjoy your combos
