Out for a little while

I injured my left shoulder yesterday (tip: no matter how much the sun tries to convince you that it's a good idea, don't go out for a bike ride right after it rains) and can't really lift my elbow higher than about 45°.

Suffice to say, I will not be able to indulge in any straight razor shaves for about a week.

Oh, well. On the bright side, since my right shoulder is just fine, this morning I became reacquainted with an old friend - my Merkur 38C! Got a great shave and enjoyed it quite a bit. Moral of the story? Always look for the silver lining.

I just recovered from a shoulder separation myself. Not fun to have an injured shoulder. Hope you have a speedy recovery!

I'm working on straights myself, but there is nothing wrong with a nice DE shave every so often.
