On several occassions I have, while reading about a shaving product on the B&B, opened a second browser window and bought that product while reading about it.

For sure, or at least to price something, I add them to the cart, then usually back down, to fight again another day.

i have. Sometimes more windows then my wallet can take. 
Sorry, but I' a rebel, I open a new tab.

When I buy pretty much anything off of the internet, I always look for reviews before I buy. I usually have one tab for buying stuff, one for reviews, and another for pics or any other random thing I need to look at but don't want to lose my other two tabs for.

+1 (literally - I've had as many as five additional tabs open while I've been shopping / checking out something I'm looking at on B&B.)

tabs. yes, tabs...plural....I always have at least 4-5 tabs open at any given moment. If I get to shopping around, that number can go up drastically 
i normally have many tabs open when shopping. B&B, reviews, basenotes etc plus various vendors to compare prices and range
I use tabs and lots of them.
Shaving products, pens, watches, you name it I've bought it while reading about it.
