Open Comb Heads, Muhle vs Merkur

I am looking for another OC and was looking at the Muhle R-41.

I presently have a Merkur 1904 OC.

The reviews I have read on the Muhle R-41 and other reviews of open combs seem to say that all the OC heads are made by Merkur.

So, are all the Muhle and Merkur OC heads the same ?

I am also collecting the older Gillette OCs, but would like to add a new design to the lot.

I have looked at the Weber but it's not in consideration right now.

The R41 does use a Merkur head. I understand that it is the same head as the 23C.

The other Muehle OC razor is the old version of the R89, which used an Italian head. I don't remember the name of the manufacturer but the reviews for the Muehle R89 on this site have more information.
