Do people like these - are they Yaqi scalloped heads ?

Just asking if people like these things because I`ve not tried them yet - just the Yaqi two in one closed and open comb "best of both" - which I love and how do they compare to other razor open head styles ?
I have two best of both but they look different to each other.
I think it`s called a scalloped one - I`m not sure.
Are scalloped just a bigger fancy modern open comb design with no major improvements compared to similar esoteric vintage razors ?
Sorry I know nothing about modern posh razors ; I`ve only just bought them and took a chance on looks alone - I know - I know - I`m daft haha !
I came here to learn - I`m very traditional ( love carbon blades etc ) but I also like to gamble occasionally hehe !
I`m not bothered if the razor is unbalanced or top heavy or a different metal and colour - as long as they work - I have quite a few ( look me up on bladeforums haha ) kitchen knives and a lot are really crazy designs but I can still use them fine.

These heads look like Yaqi Mellon heads, probably rather Zamac than SS. The second handle from the left is the DSCosmetic Pioneer handle.

The other two are Yaqi dual heads, don't recognize the model, the 3rd from the left has the Yaqi 88mm brass handle, don't know the blue one.

Oh thank you for the instantaneous informative reply Iridian - I`ll have to look my order up - I can`t remember - got a memory like an amnesiac goldfish.
I don`t mind if they`re zinc alloy zamak or 316 stainless as long as they work and tame my boat race.

The DScosmetic is deffo Gr5 titanium because i weighed it and compared the spec to the S/S 316L model.
The blue one is unbranded - you`re right Iridian and is 74 grams for £7 - ceramic coated zinc - love them - got a black one on order too; so got three DSR07 budget models now.

Yes you`re right lancre - well spotted - Thank you buddy - a house guest was playing with it and I didn`t notice - Me being a Russian caveman would hardly notice and would shave with it regardless !
Like the time when I put two hard gas-permeable contact lenses in one eye and it took me a whole day to discover where it was - or mixed the right and left up - I`m mad as a box of frogs.

Oh, it happens all the time. I figured it was shipped to you that way. And it's a good way to pack the razor while travelling. It's just that we've also seen guys try to shave with it like that and then complain that the razor didn't shave worth a darn.

Thank you lancre - I`m sixty but young at heart !
I smoke and drink, cycle 40 miles uphill, go clubbing, play sax, fix peoples computers and phones etc - when I have spare time !
I`m thinking of making a few razor handles out of marine grade stainless 5mm thread rod and Ipe, Yew, Olive or Black Ebony wood pen blanks.
Got a good drill, junior hacksaw, epoxy resin and the putty, chisels, belt and finishing sander, buffer pads, wood oil, silicone sealer and polish- I could probably do one a day if I`m lucky.

But first, I`m a herbalist and have to make a load of medicines, candles, soaps, cologne, perfume, aftershaves cosmetics and disinfectants for Christmas - haven`t really started yet - got a lot to do in the next few weeks.
Hopefully I can get away without using the still and the organic solvents too much !
I also cook and feed the homeless with the missus so we`re both really busy atm.

Yes indeed - Thank You lancre - the homeless charities are demanding but worthwhile and I have to see my brother at Christmas because we have just lost our Auntie and he`s alone down South in the Isle of Wight - South Coast in the English Channel.

Only the left side of the black head on the first photo is scalloped. Cannot see the fourth guard because it is upside down.
Typical scalloped heads are DE89 and R89.

Aw got you - thanks for putting me straight ivan_101 - I told everybody I know nothing about razor brands and new fangled heads - that`s why I`m here - to learn - even though I`ve been shaving 45 years ; you can teach an old dog new tricks - but it depends if the dog is a pedigree or a mongrel.

Oh yeah ivan_101 please can you tell me what the two silver ones on the left are called ?
On the Chinese site - it sais they are scalloped - hence my confusion.
