I've been smoking what I thought was RLP-6 with my morning coffee, off and on for a couple of years now(I purchased a pound right out of the gate), and enjoying it very much. This morning I though I would revisit some Butternut Burley (also bought a pound of it around the same time), which I thought was ok, but not great. I have both of these blends in large glass bail-top jars, labeled accordingly. After this mornings so-so smoke, I decided to look at the reviews of BB on tobaccoreviews.com. Something caught my attention on the description, "rough cut". My BB is ribbon cut. I check the description of RLP-6, "ribbon cut". My RLP-6 is rough cut. Apparently I confused the labels TWO YEARS AGO, and have been thinking BB was the inferior blend. So anything I have told anyone regarding these two blends up to this point should be ignored, or flip-flopped.
Luckily nobody listens to my opinions anyway, otherwise there wouldn't be so many latakia lovers out there.
