I should've learned my lesson on blind buy now, and I only bought a tiny .13 oz bottle of the stuff on eBay. But wow, do I hate this stuff. It's giving me a headache.

It's good stuff. Will disperse the crowd at a stadium. Layer it on top of the Veg for a truly eliminating experience.

Yeah I also quite like Xeryus Rouge. I actually prefer it over the original (I've got a 5mL mini of the vintage stuff and it just smells too musty).
It's warm pepper and spice, a very good scent for the price.

I'm not sure why I hate it, but I tried it again tonight, but just a tiny bit. It still smelled atrocious but faded away to nothing within an hour. Like some cheap ladies perfume, it just repulses me in a way that almost no scent has but Versace The Dreamer or Le Male (but way worse).
Only an $11 purchase but I am still kicking myself. Anyone who wants it can have it in exchange for literally anything. Literally, not figuratively. Just make it worth my while to ship it to you.

Also, Bulgari Aqva gave me a splitting headache. Forgot about that one.
Yeah, I am surprised how much hype this one gets on some of the fragrance boards. Not good stuff at all in my book.......
You aren't describing the scent I own. There is absolutely no way mine would fade away to nothing in an hour.
Perhaps keep a look out for a tester in a store, and check whether it is indeed the same as what is in your bottle.

Xeryus Rouge from Givenchy is one of my top 5 favorites, trumped only by the original M7 from YSL.
Just out of interest, does anyone know if the Rouge was reformulated when Givenchy updated the bottle shape from the deco-style oblong to the more rounded squat form?
A lot of the folks over on Basenotes swear up and down it has been, but I reckon my nose isn't sophisticated enough to tell the difference.
