i am looking for a smiliar brush with long handle in badger... any suggestion please...

The Omega Pro is a great brush for the price.

Are you just looking for a long handle? or Are you looking for a long handle with a badger knot that is similar to the knot in the boar.

something like this (long handle)... but dont want to pay too much..

PCWoodcrafts make excellent brush's with longer handles. Pat Camara will custom make one out of a large selection of wood, acrylic, or trustone. I have a really nice Ebony Gabnon (BLACK wood) 28mm brush, and could not be happier with it. This brush actualy gets at least as much use as my Shavemac D01 cream brush.

The handles tend to be very hour glassy, with looks a bit odd at first, but trust me the curves make for an excellent hand hold for any number of different grips. This easily makes it my most versatile handle. The knots are very nice, though not overly dense or overly soft, at least in the 28mm size. IMO they are an amazing brush especially at the price point, $65for a 24mm and $80 for a 28mm. Pat was great to work with and I think he would be happy to make an extra long handle for you if you wish.

thank you...

No problem. Sorry for the MASSIVE pictures :001_rolle Shavemac also makes some long handles but they are twice the money. You can ask Pat about a discount, but as far as I know he sells most everything at the same price. Unless you want something really exotic or extravagant.

I say give a boar brush a try too. They are really cheap, and nice in a different way. They take a month or so to properly break in, but its well worth the time if you use much soap.

I have one of these and it is in my rotation. A very good boar brush. It's a big sucker but works equally well on soaps and creams.
I have been using mine for a couple of years and just keeps getting softer with use. So far very minimal shedding so it's no great concern.

Get one and give it a try if you don't like it you can always sell it here on BST for almost what you paid for it.

Yes, I have that very same Omega brush and I love it. It has become my favorite. It works great with soaps and creams. The long handle and knot are great because they keep my knuckles out of the lather when lathering in a mug.
It's very easy to lather with that brush. I think you'll like it a lot. I use mine for bowl, mug, and face lathering with soap pucks and sticks, and with creams.
Great brush, especially for the price.

I've seen vintage "barber shop" brushes that look nearly identical to the Col. Conk you have pictured there, but never tried them, they look to be fairly floppy and not very dense. As far as the omega boar professional line goes, they are exceptional brushes for the modest price. I feel too many people assume that because boars are inexpensive, they are cheap. However, Omega boars are very good quality and once properly broken in and soaked, every bit as soft as best or silver tip badgers on the face. So if you have already purchased the Omega give it a shot, but give it at least a month (20 - 30 shaves) before making a decision about the brush. If you haven't purchased the Omega I think it's worth serious consideration in your case due to how these brushes murder soaps. Just my thoughts.

I have one of the Omega brushes. It is one of my favorites. I have big hands and the handle fits me well. Like Damooshki said, when it is broken in it is a great brush. The price was right for me and it was one of my first brushes.

It is worth a try. I don't have any real expensive badger brushes to compare it to but in my opinion it is a great brush.

is this brush exclusive for bowl lathering only or it can be used for creams for direct face lathering ??
