What's new

Omega 31025

I got this brush about a week and a half ago
ago from WCS and I'm ashamed that it's virtually unmentioned around here. It was very soft with near perfect backbone out of the box and it's only getting better. The tips started to split almost immediately and it's only shed one or two hairs. The handle is beautiful and feels good in the hand.

My only problem (all new boars I've had have this problem) is that it was a little prickly in the beginning. There were about six or seven hairs that were thicker than the others (almost like they were in there upside down) and were not splitting. I felt through the brush, found them, and cut them off short so I can't feel them. A great brush became amazing. I look forward using this brush everyday now.

My favorite boar brush also, I've never had any problem with prickly hairs though. It is probably the quickest break-in of any boar I own (extremely soft tips now) and man is it a lather monster.

I have the Omega 31064 which appears to use the same knot as your 31025. Assuming so, I completely agree with your assessment in that the tips are very, very soft out of the box and the backbone is absolutely wonderful. Soaps, creams, it does not matter with this brush - you will get loads of lather no matter what.
