Old Stock Rooney Silvertip M&F Polo has Arrived

I just received this brush that I had written about a couple weeks ago:

I am truly blown away by the density/softness of the knot and the craftsmanship of the handle. I really like the silver logo. Lee was right - I would be kicking myself had I passed it up. I have attach a few photos. I can't wait to test this guy later today. Everybody say hello!

Very nice! Is that the typical ivory/cream color? It looks to have a bit more of a bone color but that could just be the lighting.

I don't think it's typical. It seems more bone-like as you said. Really love it with the silver writing.

Looks like Lee used the same finish, which we also have in our M&F Limited Edt. Rooney Finest Stubby brushes......great finish !

Thanks Claus. I rarely bowl lather either my friend. The brush is actually a 29mm knot with a 50mm loft (Lee always seems to measure a few mm over, perhaps using a different method?). Great for face lathering in my opinion!

Just finished a shave with this brush. The handle is very large and comfortable in the hand. I would describe the feel of this brush as similar to a chubby 2 super, but very slightly larger and much, much softer. The knot is so dense that it didn't really feel like a 3 band, but the softness was out of this world. Here is a pic in full bloom:

Thanks guys. Looks like the handle height is about 65 mm. I believe this is right around the Polo 8 height.
