Old Spice score! with scent!

Booyah! :w00t: I've been into vintage soaps recently, and have wanted an Old Spice mug for a long time. I finally got one, with unused soap! Shipped for $26 off ebay. I think this is lower than usual, maybe this particular mug is not as valuable, but it's just what I wanted. And you're not gonna believe this, but I can smell the scent. Definitely different than my P&G bottle of Old Spice AS...I'm not getting a sharp "spice" from the soap. I'm thinking about ordering some Indian OS to see if it's closer to this scent.

very nice pick up, I have bought two off the bay, one is still sealed in plastic, the other one doesn't have much scent left but it still performs great. Maybe my favorite soap.

Very nice Vlad, you just may have found your favorite soap. I still love this great old soap and enjoy every use.

Regards,

Doug

I'm awaiting delivery of a vintage old spice mug, unfortunately empty but it will be perfect for lathering up my proraso cream. I can't wait to start using it.

Nice! If it's what you want, don't worry about the price. That was not bad at all, by the way, considering what some of them have gone for recently.

Nice! Old Spice shaving soap is great!

I found a still-wrapped puck for $3.50 in an antique shop a few weeks ago. I had no idea how fantastic the lather and scent could be from such an old soap.

Enjoy!

Did not get a great lather today, but I expect it will improve. Loving the scent, though.

Last time I saw an Old Spice mug and soap available in a store in the UK was about 1995. They used to come out at Christmas time from what I can remember. I don't remember the refills being available separately.

Congrats! I'd love to try one of those pucks out... Just gotta find one first. Let me know how the Indian Shulton compares to the original if you end up ordering it.
