I bought this old Simpsons brush off ebay. Does anyone have any idea what model it is? The markings in the picture are the only ones on the brush.

What is the knot diameter and the handle height?

I don't have calipers, but eye balling it with a ruler, I would say about 27-28 mm for the knot. The handle is about 56 mm, and from bottom of handle to top of knot about 108 mm. Here is a Pic next to a Kent Bk 12. I've been soaking the knot, so it is wet.
Big brush. The shape reminded me of Wee Scot and older Case, but those dimensions absolutely exclude the possibility.
That's a great score, it looks to be in fine shape. Congratulations!!!

I've used it a couple times after cleaning, and it only shed a couple hairs on the first use...Zero on the second!

Definitely close. I checked that post last week -- Blue-EyedSon's may be a little thicker and the base on mine looks more rounded.It looks to be the same design as the "AS3" pictured in Post 72:

there were pics a couple of weeks ago when i posted the link. They do seem to be gone now. the link had a picture of the box it came in and everything. I don't understand why pics disappear on this site after a time....
