We can change players and teams based on performance and merit on weekly basis........

I already have 2 in mind, Rose and James. Rose is carrying his team early on, and James is just picking off where he left off last year.

The players that immediately come to me are:

LeBron James: Best player on the planet

"CP3" Chris Paul: My pick for best point guard

Kyrie Irving: Best up and coming point guard

Derrick Rose: If he stays healthy I think he is the best point guard in the East

Kevin Durant: Unstoppable...2nd best player on the Planet

Steph Curry: Up and coming and probably has the longest range

Dwight Howard: I absolutely dislike his "diva" ways but you cannot argue he is the best big man

I'm sure there are more but these players immediately come to mind. I also love Portland's PG: Damon Lilliard...probably the most under-rated guard because he plays in a small market.

God I hate Miami lol. The poor Celtics. When do they start tonight? Tomorrow?

East:
1. Bron
2. Hibbert
3. George
4. Melo
5. Rose

West:
1. Kobe (if healthy and plays a few months before the AS break, if not, then Harden)
2. KD
3. CP3
4. DHoward
5. Timmy D

Kobe will probably make it for the same reason Yao would always make it - the fan vote. I like Kobe a lot, but I hate the fan voting. The players that make the All Star team should be players that are playing exceptionally well THIS SEASON, not players the fans like, or players that have historically played well. What is this, the Academy Awards?

I agrree with your opinion for Season MVP voting, but for a exhibition fun one night only game, the fans should vote.

EAST;
Rose

Wow, Brooklyn had nothing but all stars in their team...............Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Brook Lopez — with their 35 All-Star appearances combined — and a bench with Andrei Kirilenko (another All-Star), Andray Blatche and Jason Terry on one team equals title contender.

Usually so many 'stars' on one team does not work. But Pierce and Garnett are old vets who just want another ring no matter what, Lopez doesn't have much of an ego about him, Deron is a decent point and if he feeds Joe the rock they won't have problems. I still have doubt about how this team will grow during the season but the pieces are all there. Just hope they can stay healthy.

Good example is 03 Lakers
