I don’t have a picture, but it’s not that bad. We always had a crockpot of stew when my mom went back to work. She would brown whatever meat and add canned vegetables. We all worked different hours and you grabbed a bowl and ate sometimes alone, sometimes with a family member. I usually worked from 4 until 9 so I never saw anyone unless I was off. I worked every Friday and every Sunday. We honestly never thought much about it. I can’t imagine a high school kid doing that today.
Crockpots rock. Mom had one. One of the first kitchen tools I purchased after a divorce about 30 years ago was a crockpot. I'd fill it in the morning before going off to work; dinner was ready when I got home. That crockpot, many years later, went to grad school with me and kept me fed for four years there. We still have it! Still use it.
Best $10 I ever spent. (It was on sale at the time...)
