Here is brush number four which became such a boar.
I took the 26 mm maple handle and increased the hole to accept an Omega 27 mm boar (from TGN) with the cap bringing the hole size to 31 mm. Applied a thin layer of cherry stain and protected the entire wood surface with Minwax® Polycrylic®. Then a plastic decorative pendant was epoxied on as a base and here are the results.
I have one boar in my rotation which is inexpensive Chinese Shaving Factory XS boar which I have enjoyed. At this point this will be another boar to break in and I will provide results after the break in.
