Not sure what to do - ingrowns

Yeah, another thread about ingrown hairs... My problem is not the typical ingrown where the hair burrows back down under the skin. When I have these, the hair never comes out the surface of the skin but instead grows sideways underneath. I exfoliate and moisturize daily. Is there a way to "train" my hairs to grow out straight? What else should I try?

You are take too much skin in your shave, try a little less angle on the face.

Yeah I would let all the hairs come out before I would shave again, though if you do not want to I would suggest that you only shave in the direction of the growth and have a shallow angle so that there is less incentive for the hairs to become ingrowns.

So my problem is basically using too steep of a blade angle on those certain areas?
