Not sure if i bought a merkur 34c.help me

Hi all! well, i was at my local mall, stamford mall CT. thiers an art of shaving store thier. They had a few muhle, r89, the 102, the progress, the futur, and a few merkurs! so! i have always wanted a 34c! and foud a short 0ne...in appearnce. the problem is, the merkur box does NOT say on it, what model it is...the only info is a label on bottom...TAOS SFTY RAZR HWT CHRM 34001 and then june/2013. The guy working thier, looked on his computer, but does not go onto google. the upc code for what its worth, is6 70535 67003 2.
It came with one platinum merkur razor..and no instructions,stating what model i have. it very much appears to be a bar(non comb) merkur...i attibuted the 34001 meaning 34, as in 34c. How do i know, i purchased ( $65!!!!) a merkur 34c?
any help on this anyone? i just looked at merkurs website..and its all in german :/

If you posted a picture there would be 100 guys who could identify it in an instant. By the description I'd guess that's what it is, but without a pic I couldn't say for sure.

If the handle is short and the end of the handle has a double looking grip that turns, (to put the blade in), yes, that's a 34c. Enjoy it! Great razor.

yes its a short handle. yes, the handle has a double turning handle. it unlocks the top..2 piece set up. so its a 34c???
i know..i was ret hining it, but REALLY wanted one, and have worked to the point of stress past week, wanted to be good too myself. i saw on westcoastshaving, their $43. so i payed $20 more. stamford is known as NYC's nightcap, or a mini NYC. becasue of all the financial lpaces like UBS< others. taxes have gone up insanley here, property taxes, and the cost of living. so prob why it costed $20 more.
so for sure! its a 34c?
