Nicks, cuts and skidmarks

Traded my usual Astra SP for a Shark SC in the R41 this morning.

I paid the price . . . with what can best be described as "road rash."

Clearly, I've found a blade that works . . . and one that doesn't.

At least for me.

I figure I'm down a pint, but in the true spirit of B&B, who cares?

I got a BBS shave. LOL

I traded my Astra SP for a feather a few days ago. I've used it twice but I don't think it suits me either - I didn't bleed much but the shave itself wasn't very close & left with with a few irritation spots on my lower neck. I've sharks to try next....wish me luck!

Good luck, Sarge!

Remember, we only have five quarts to give. LOL

My best results with the R41 were with the 7:00 Yellow.
Astra SP was a nicely shaving 2nd place.
Derby was my first blade and it was a bloodbath.

Give the Yellows a try

that must have been a hell of a shave to give you skidmarks. even oxiclean ain't gonna help that symptom..they only go away with a fresh pair of underwear!

I found the sharks better than the feather but still a little irritation around the lower neck / adams apple. They were superb for shaving my head though! Clean as a whistle! Might just have to change the blades about to use different ones for my face & sharks for my head!

It seemed like a good phrase at the time. I just didn't expect to take it in the shorts. LOL
