Newbie/Razor ID

Hey all! I've been DE shaving for awhile and just got into starting to collect these bad boys. I have a few questions about some razors I picked up over the weekend at some antique stores/garage sales.

Before we get to that I wanted to thank everyone for all their help in the past. Without even knowing it, you guys (and gals) have helped many people who are looking into wet shaving get started. When I first started out I googled every question I had and it always led me to this forum. After awhile I stopped googling and just came here first. I spent hours going through the threads and reading about shaving and razors and listening to everyone's opinions on so many topics. I felt like an expert even before my first Safety Razor shave. So Thank you!!

Glad you joined us. The Tech is the razor I started shaving with. I gave it to one of my sons a number of years ago. I am not an expert on razors but I believe the ball handled razor above dates back to the 1920s. All are nice finds.

The small one may be a Lady Decolletee.

Thank you! What a great site! I'm glad it had the blades too because inside the Tech there was a 1965 Gillette blue blade(K4). The pictures don't do that Tech justice at all. It's spotless. All I did was wipe it with a dry cloth and it's as shiny as my Merkur HD.

That's a great start to your collection. I haven't had any luck finding any of the open combs in the wild in my area.
