I recently went on a mini buying spree of SE razors on eBay after my wonderful success with the Gem feather weight. In my first shipment, I got a Micromatic, and a "Brooklyn" Gem. I cleaned them both up, and immediately put blades in them to see how they may fare.

The Micromatic looks absolutely stunning, and should be a great shaver. The other one seemed to have the blade sitting at an odd angle. Is this common with that style - where they simply aren't as precise, or is it possible that this one is simply bent?
Once my full score comes in, I'll post pics, and I'll most likely end up PIF-ing the ones that I don't intend to use daily.
Here's what's on the way:
The Feather Weight still has the cardboard "blade" in it.
And finally, the one I seriously over-paid for, but was too pretty to pass up:

My Merkur DE is getting less and less use since I discovered the SE!
Good shaving!
