New razor test run went very well tonight

I got myself a new razor in the mail today an old double ring. The razor cleaned up really well and gave me a DFS pretty surprising for such an old razor. I am hoping to find the blade holders for this at an upcoming flea market, last time I went one of the larger razor vendors had a few sets for sale lets hope he still has a set left.

Thanks Dools you should have seen the razor when I first got it. The razor was covered in a black sooty film unlike any other old razor I have cleaned which came off very easily. I am thinking this razor may be a silver plate and the black soot was a tarnish explaining the ease to clean it off with little effort. I do need advice on getting into the knurling for a better clean. As you can see there is still the black soot into the knurling.
