New Pen, possibly need some help with IDing

Hey everyone! After a year with my Safari my parents got me what seems to be a very nice pen for Christmas. They got is from a "custom" guy here in Michigan, but can't remember the name of the place. I though I would ask here and see if anyone recognizes it. I know it would be a long shot, and in the end, I don't much care as it seems to write nicely.

I'm sorry I cannot help with the ID. It is a beautiful pen. The barrel and cap appear to be made of a wooden burl of some sort- absolutely beautiful. Enjoy.

Now half as wise
I would go with what Rudy says. I have turned several pens from various kits and they are all very smooth writing nibs.

Now that I know what kit it is from, anyone have an idea on what converter I need to use with it? Should I just give Goulet a call? Right now it has a very small refill in it that won't last long.

These take standard converters or what is called "European" cartridge (this is the short one), the same converters come with the Edison pens.

You can get standard shmidt converters for $5.00 almost anywhere. If you need one, I have quite a few new ones laying around.
