New Merkur open comb head?

Maybe it has been posted before but I was juast browsing razors and I noticed the Merkur Travel OC having a different head than I am used to at www.shaving.ie.

It looks less like a Gillette old type and more similar to their scaloped heads.

Has anyone used this type of head?

EDIT: I think someone just photoshopped teeth in the picture of the safety bar version.

Hmmm, curious. My Merkur OC's all have the Gillette Old style type of head. This pic sure does show something different. Have you been onto the Merkur / Dovo site and double checked yet.

I am quite sure the picture is an error. What does puzzle me is that someone who can Photoshop with such attention to detail neglects the difference in head shape.

I just sent a polite notification to the vendor.

That's the safety bar version but I suspect it's actually the same picture. Just look at the lighting on the knurdling on the handle.

Not to mention the supposedly same razor, disassembled in background, is NOT oc. Guess they didn't have one for the display shoot, and did the best they could

They don't make that head in the OC as far as i know. i have never seen that before.

Just received a confirmation from shaving.ie that it's the usual Merkur type head.

An amazingly quick response considering it's new years day and they are closed for holidays but no mention about changing the picture.

Shaving ie are good like that. I asked a question on Boxing day and had a reply the following day. I purchased from them as well and the service is excellent.
