I recently acquired a new brush from a forum member. *let me preface this as I did not pay for it nor am I being paid for reviewing it* It's a gorgeous silver and black handle, the hair is very soft on the tips, with a bit of backbone when pushing past the tips. As a face-latherer its a bit big of a knot for my tastes and is EXTREMELY thirsty which can be overcome with just adding more water when lathering. A few things that make me tilt my head quite literally about it are a couple of the hairs are set into the knot base on both ends so they just make little loops, and there are about 10-15 hairs that are considerably longer than the rest throughout the brush. Little QC issues on the knot makers part. Overall I do enjoy using the brush, and need to try using it for bowl lathering to see if its size lends itself better to that style.
