It is perfect for my traveling. Just big enough to do the job. I now own three Beckers.

Don't have the dimensions but they are on his website. On the road I either use Tabac, La Toja, or Irisch Moos cream, or Mitchell's Wool Fat. I carry da Fat in a WCS screw-top tin. So I load my brush there and use the scuttle to create my lather.

Now that I look at it not so much the same but aren't they great?
I have extremely hot tap water and oh the joy of that lather.
I am gonna miss it during 2014 because of the Ultimate Shave Challenge.
I didn't choose a scuttle.
It just didn't seem practical for a whole year.

Marty, I have both. The one in my picture is called "Forest with Green." Yours is called "Desert Tortoise." The Desert Tortoise" is my favorite. But yeah, the black is beautiful. I might have to have a full sized one, too. Drat, my SCAD (scuttle AD) is kicking in.
