I traded a handful of razors I was not using with a B&B member for this Merkur 11C with silver case. Also shown is the modern, but now discontinued Merkur 11C for a comparison. I believe the vintage 11C is made from nickle but I am not too sure. I hunted for some information on line and here on the vintage 11C and came up blank. It seems more "polished" or better finished than it's modern brother. The case has "Merkur Solingen Germany" on the underside. I used it today and found the razor very mild but very efficient. A near BBS using a PermaSharp (2) with two passes and a couple of touch up strokes.
