Need Suggestions for first Ever Ready 100 Restore

you guys ever use this loctite marine epoxy?

Man, i found another black and white 100-T. This one looked 100x better than the previous one i found. I posted it in the ever ready numbers thread.

Well, that epoxy i posted above SUCKS!

I followed the instructions very closely and no matter how much i pushed on that syringe thing, one of the mixing compunds wouldn't come out. I'm definitely not happy about this. At least the knot i received looks great.

I was wondering how the epoxy you posted would work. I used the 30min epoxy that you have to mix yourself. I had good results with it.

I've had good luck with Locktite 5 min. epoxy, but I buy the separate bottle of hardener and resin. They are a bit more expensive but you get at least 5 times the volume. The syringe tubes can allow small amounts of the two components to mix at the tips. If they work to begin with, they have always hardened at the tip before I could use more than half of the small container. Anyway, it is handy stuff to have around the shop.

I'm gonna stop by lowes. I saw they had the devcon brand that ive seen mentioned around here.
