Need Some Top Notch Scented Balms

Are there any after shave balms that smell as good as the splashes? My skin seems to still feel very dry if I only use a splash after shaving. The problem is that I love the scent of my splashes. Are there any balms that compare?

Thank you in advance!

Barclay Crocker scents are nice and strong and you can mix your own scents to create custom. I have their Bay Rum and Amber, Eucalyptus and Honeysuckle, Rose/Ocean/Cedar, and Coconut. All smell heavenly.

Thanks so much for the replies! To be more specific, I really enjoy all of Captain's Choice's products, Proraso splash, Aqua Velva Sport and the like. I just feel as though my skin is still very dry after only using the splashes. "SCS makes a full line of splendid balms and milks. Good people, too." What does SCS stand for? Thanks so much for the recommendations i look forward to seeing more. Thanks!

SCS = Saint Charles Shave

Also, you could try using Lubriderm 3-in-1 unscented lotion (available at your local grocery store) and then layer it with your favorite splash. It works nicely.

Gilbert Henry's bay rum balm is very, very good indeed. It has some real woodsy scent that lasts after the bay has dissipated somewhat.
QCS Esquire is probably the best balm I've ever used. Light citrus and wood. I don't know their other scents besides Vostok.
Vostok is cold, and great functionally. It smells like a York Peppermint patty, for about 10 minutes, then the scent is gone.

Tcheon Fung Sing Bergamotto Neroli has a terrific scent. I had been sold on Bath House Spanish Fig and Nutmeg...West Coast Shaving sent me a sample of the Begamotto Neroli and it blew me away.

+1 I've layered an AS splash with any type of moisturizer, or asb, and like the results. If you're a purist, stick to unscented balms, or be creative with the scented ones - although, the scent is usually fleeting. Or even layer the moisturizer with witch hazel - works great, and can be a cheaper alternative to buying expensive asb.

Penhaligon's aftershave balms are very moisturizing and scented very nicely. Endymion is my favorite. Castle Forbes Lavender is a great aftershave balm if you enjoy the lavender scent. Acqua di Parma balms are all great scents as well and have top notch ingredients. Last, but not least, L'Occitane Cade and Eau des Baux aftershave balms are arguably some of the best out there. Cade is a juniper berry kind of gin scent and EdB is an incensy tobacco like scent. Both great IMO.
