Right now Aqua Velva is my number one top favorite after shave lotion. I love the refreshing fragrance and the mild menthol sting. I am looking for an alternative so that I don't get bored with the same thing. I don't like the creamy, oily, or non-menthol offerings. I also use Mennan Skin Bracer and that's good too, but I'm still looking for another option. I need more than two. I'm guessing that Proraso might be an alternative to try but I'm not sure. I welcome any recommendations you might have. Thanks.

Barbasol Pacific Rush is highly mentholated.
There is always Osage Rub. I'm not a big fan, but it is HIGHLY mentholated.
If budget is not an issue Kramperts frostbite is the most incredible AS I have ever come across.
Master Blue. Menthol but a real change up from AV
Thayers Medicated Superhazel with Aloe can be used as an aftershave as is. Great for summer...and definitely mentholated!

Floid Blue.
SCS Blue Line. It's a bit like AV, but different enough so that you know you are wearing something different. Plus, it's important to support the small vendors like SCS so they will stay in business and keep supplying us with their great products.
Well, Proraso green is worth a try IMO.

Thanks for the great recommendations and for helping me to remember the great products of SCS. I had forgotten about that company. I'm not a big fan of the huge menthol kick . . . I just like a hint of menthol. I think the Blue Line SCS stuff might be a little too intense for me . . It does warn that it's not for sensitive skin. Looking at the SCS stuff, however, the Bay Rum with a Twist looks kind of intriguing. Does anyone have any experience with that? It does say "cooling".
