Need input on finding brush

Looking for a brush that is a better or same performer as an Edwin Jagger Best Badger Medium brush.
My requirements:

Same size but must have a thicker handle.

Not looking to spend more than $50 if possible.

Simpsons Commodore X1? It has a much more ergonomic handle. Also, perhaps a Semogue 620, which is a boar brush. Penworks may be worth looking at, since some of their brushes are in your price range. These are all quality brushes that should perform better than your BBB.

how are they with creams?

In my experience, all brushes are fine with creams. Face lathering hard soaps is when I have specific requirements for a brush. I only face lather hard soaps, though.

I thought Semogue badgers were out of his range. I'm ignoring pure badger and was only suggesting the 620 boar brush.

Take a look at the smaller Vulfix's in best or super badger.
