I need some info on this old british gillette aristocrat Is it worth getting replated?
Need help with this razor.

May just need the head crimped and knob timed.
Please let us know on this...I'd love to see the finished result if you get it replated. Does it just screw back together?

yes. Thats the strange part to me its a three piece. in that the knob does not turn. The handle and knob are one piece. anyone got any throughts on this?
Yes, take the head off then by hand turn then knob in a clockwise direction. Try to soak and work it loose by hand. If you get the knob free then we can "time it" during reassembly.

Yep got one of the silver ones as well.The silver one seems fine just really tight

SWWWEEET! Just got the knob off. had to use some channel locks and a vise with the barrell and knob wrapped in a cloth.

Well what I done last night was take a punch and crimped the bar back to he tube just enough to allow it to spin so I can take the razor apart. I will see about having it replated . If replating is not to expensive I can put the razor back together after and crimp it all back together more securely. Thanks for your help guys.
