Need help IDing

Evening gents,

I have a few razors that I can't seem to find information on (I'm looking for manufacture dates or anything really), so here it is:

#1 - Marked on tang - 31 The Palmer - umm, anything would be great...

#2 - I believe this is a George Wostenholm (there is an axe on tang, reverse is almost impossible to read atm)

#3 - John Williams Damascus Steel Sheffield - nothing found on this mfr.

Thanks guys.

Pics to follow (as soon as I can :mad3: find the stupid camera... I can thank the kids for hiding it.)

From the expert...

The Palmer razor is definitely linked to The Palmer House, Chicago. The Palmer House provided some of their preferred customers with complimentary straight razors from the late 19th century to the mid 20th century. The Palmer also sold them in their world famous barber shop. Most of the razors were made and labeled for them in Germany. Some of the later ones were American. The number on them is probably the year the razor was made.

Wostenholm razors often have a pipe on them, perhaps your axe is a pipe?
