need help for dating a Valet set

I´ve this open comb Valet set and want to date it. I believe it´s from the 30s. It looks like never used. Any ideas?

Definitely a VC3. 2 main features that confirm this: comb guard and it has the 2 blade clamps instead of the side-hinged flap. Made from 1935 to 1940. The previous model, VC2, had the side-hinged flap (Like a Cooper DE razor). The next model after the VC3, the VC4, had a bar guard instead of a comb guard.

So that's it. Model VC3, made from 1935 to 1940.

What sort of condition is it in and does it have all the associated kit? I've seen used ones with badly tarnished plating with only the case (also in bad condition) included going for around $15, very good conditioned but clearly used one with the complete kit going for $30-40 and mint conditioned ones with the full kit going for anything from $60 up to $120
