What's new

need a dry, woody AS balm to go w/ Marlborough

Fellows,

Have recently found D.R. Harris' Marlborough shave cream. Great stuff, with scent of sandal and cedar woods.

Was disappointed to see Harris doesn't offer AS Milk in Marlborough scent.

Can anyone suggest an AS balm or milk that will complement Marlborough?

Thanks!

If you like light weight, white lotions, take a look at Qed and their Texax Cedarwood a/s conditioner. Very light, absorbs fully and that cedar is dry and fresh smelling. A real favourite of mine.

Regards, Todd

QED balms are really excellent, and I'd agree with the Cade too. Helan Vetiver is also a nice, reasonably priced alternative.

What about SCS Aspect ASM? Saint Sue's aftershave milks are very nourishing and her Aspect scent is hard to beat for a smell of the great outdoors!

Just tried my first day of Art of Shaving Sandalwood, and it was great. It seemed a bit heavy but moisturized without feeling tacky. Should be great for Winter.
