Neck Tie Accesories - Do you use any?

So I know there are quite a few guys sporting the bow ties around here especially Rob (liberty_2112) and a bunch of others have been showing off their ties in the tie of the day thread. But I haven't seen that many other tie accessories (not sure how else to categorize them). I am personally a tie bar guy if anything. I got a friend who does the collar bar thing. Like lots of things, YMMV. what about you guys? Love? Hate? Tacky? Classy?

I'm a tie bar kind of guy. I don't like the pins that pierce the tie for the very reason that they damage the fabric. However, I only wear a tie bar with certain ties. Usually my narrower, more modern styles. The accompanying tie bar I use is sized accordingly.

I do a tie bar every once in a while, I've never been a big fan of the collar bar, and to be honest that tie chain is just plain fugly :tongue_sm

I got moves like Jagger
I have two of grandpa's tie clips. Hmmmm, maybe I should start wearing normal ties to work!

Nice clean tie bar for sure, adds a nice bit of personality and the added benefit of keeping the tie from swinging is nice too :)

I've used pins, bars, and chains. I only like bars if they're the same width as the tie where I clip them. I like pins but don't like to picture the tie. The chain is my favorite. Mine was a thin plain one, not big like the one in the picture. I wore them for function, to keep my tie from moving to the side, not for looks, but I haven't used any of them for years.

I have a two tone gold tie bar. Granted I used it more to keep my tie out of food but I wear it occasionally when not working.

I use a tie bar for that same reason. I have a plain matte silver one, and a two tone black/silver one. I like the plain one, but they seem hard to find around here.

I have a nice tie bar. It's gold and looks like a knot.
Here's a pic. I don't have the cufflinks. Not much of a cufflink guy anymore.
I always get positive comments on it.

I like the tie bar, trying to work it in more places.
Tie pin, I don't like putting holes in my ties.
coller bar, don't think I could pull that off.
Tie chain, I'm not in the 1920's anymore.

Tie Bar - Yes, always.
Tie Pin - No, because I don't like damaging my ties.
Collar Bar -  Definitely not.
Tie Chain - Not a fan.

I don't use anything. When I was growing up and had to attend dressy functions, my mom always had me wear a tie tack to keep it out of food while eating. Maybe that's why I don't use anything, the freedom of it all. I do like the look of a tie bar though...

I wear a tie bar all the time at the office. Outside of the office, in more "formal" situations (usually court appearances - I'm a prosecutor) I leave it off. I tend to think of these accessories as more functional than decorative, so when I want to present myself more formally I take the tie bar off. It does come in handy, especially early on in my career when I would wear regular length ties and tie them around my 17" neck in a full windsor knot. The back end would be too short to pull through the loop behind the tie and sometimes would peek or even dangle off the side. The tie bar kept it in line. Now I use long ties and don't have the problem, but having a tie bar has functional uses, such as not flopping into my lunch or into the sink and stuff.

Tie bar and tie chain. Like the looks and they perform the function of keeping the tie from flying all over, especially into lunch. Don't go for things that damage the tie fabric so tacks are not for me. Because I am both tall and fat, and do like the Windsor knot for the symmetry, I have a very short tie tail so have to be creative hiding it.

Tie bar/clip with woven ties
Tie pin with knit ties - easy to push though without damaging the fabric.
I have a chain but have never found the right ties to wear it with
