mystery scent

Guys I need your help. I received a sample of knize ten from Colonial Drug and the folks there added a sample of something marked "k ouban"--two words. I have no idea what it is. Can anyone help?

This is like a ritual with Colonial Drug. Email them or give them a call--I always have to do that to figure out what they sent me.

I wonder if it's just poorly scribbled. Doesn't C&S make a cologne called Cuban? Could it be K - Cuban? No idea what the K stands for.

That indeed does seem to be part of the charm with Colonial...

They specialize in a lot of hard to find and obscure scents, and then toss in samples of things many have never heard of with odd abbreviations in the chicken scratch scrawl of the SA.

I had a K Peau...I emailed and a couple of weeks later Cathy writes back and tells me it is Keiko Peau. It is a Russian leather scent that is pretty darn nice. Very much like Knize IMO.

So, the K...I looked up K Ouban or however you spelled it. I thought maybe we were onto something with the K's.

And, a bunch of stuff in other languages came up.

Word of advice...call....they take forever to email you.

Maybe it was another Keiko. Oliban.

BINGO!:thumbup1: It has to be Keiko Oliban; I read various descriptions and that matches what's in the bottle.

Keiko seems to be favored at Colonial Drug too.

What I smelled was good, but not for what they're asking. That is just my opinion which means nothing. Just ask my g/f.

What is the other one they send out a lot?

It's REL, I THINK, but it always looks like REG? Is this correct and what IS it exactly?
