What's new

my wife broke my soap bowl

today. she gave the Lady Gillette a go while I was at work and she said she had the bowl perched on the edge of the tub. of course, she knocked it over and shattered it. i'm not too fussed about losing the bowl - it was a cheap thriftstore purchase that cost less than a dollar. I did, however, lose the remainder of my col conk's soap puck. there wasn't much of the puck left but still, my precious soap was chucked in the garbage bin and I know I could've gotten plenty more use out of it. I'm still wondering why she didn't use a dab of proraso in my wooden lather bowl

Think of it as an opportunity to upgrade. Take full advantage and lay the guilt on thick to get something really great.

It seems from your posts that your tools are frequently perching precariously above toilets or over tubs.

Sorry to hear about the Conk, but what's done is done.

that they are and it makes me uneasy every time I go into the bathroom. i'm gonna check out some bathroom shelves/organizers from Ikea and see if she'll go for any of them.

Don't you mean your ex-wife? Just kidding, of course.

I recently received a lather bowl from Dirty Bird, and I love it! It was well worth the $12 I paid for it. The craftswomanship and efficacy are fantastic! It's a shallow bowl, so no brush interference. It has a raised pattern on the bottom to assist with lather building. I am very happy with it, and recommend it highly.

It's because she broke it on purpose.
