My weird mug finally has a purpose

I coached a children's soccer team many years ago, and one of the kids gave me a mug shaped like half of a soccer ball at the end of the season as a gift. It's a strange shape, and tended to slop coffee easily so I didn't use it much. I came across it the other day, and thought it would be great for making lather in. After a couple of uses, I think it is a perfect use for the cup. Here's a picture of it with a M1 adjustable in it for a size reference. It's wide, round, and has a large handle on it.
