I just want to mention that I have been a "silent" member of the forum and now i'm speaking for the first time. I just had a bbs awesome shave today with my 1958 gillette super speed red tip and rapira super stainless razor blade! My first bbs shave was with a feather blade, but I seem to like the rapira blades a lot too. But this is my first shave with this blade, so who knows how many good shaves it will last? I heard the feather blades will only last a maximum of 4 shaves per blade for most people and for some it may last longer. I know YMMV with this type of thing, but do the rapiras compare with the feathers for some people or is that just me? I bought rapira blades from bestshave.net since I heard the reviews from the forum. Thanks guys for all your advice!
