My new Rudy Vey custom

My custom Rudy Vey was delivered today. WOW! I couldn't tell you what type of material it's made out of, other that it's a dark brown acrylic with rich swirls of amber woven through it. It has a 24mm silvertip grade A knot cresting this wonderful work of art. The only thing that I know to say about Rudy, is he is one of those who truly is a pleasure to deal with. High expectations were easily surpassed.

I want to credit user Lz6 who had an original brush commissioned by Rudy that I was in awe of. I contacted him, and he was extremely helpful, and pointed me toward Rudy's work. I had Rudy slightly modify mine, in order to preserve both mine and Lz6's originality.

Can't wait to shave with this new heirloom that one day will be my sons.

Mine came in!!!

This is after a few lathers and one shave. The knot is VERY nice, and I love the Thater-esque look of it. Needless to say, Rudy's work has lived up to the hype.
I face lathered Cade and was in love. Might this be the brush that feels like a big Wee Scot? Stay tuned!
