Never have thought much of all the preshave products. My wife got a new product from OVC. Wen shampoo/conditioner and I started washing my hair with it. Nice! Now, when I shower and shampoo, the conditioner becomes my preshave: but I apply it with a Loofah up and down and all around. Defoliates great. Then I cold water shave.

I use conditioner during my shower to soften my beard!
Yeah, conditioner for a preshave gets a lot of love. It was the first preshave I used. Works well.

Conditioner is what i use also. Followed by some noxema on occasion.

I also use hair conditioner in the shower (Suave) and it really helps soften my beard. I picked that tip up here or on YT.
