My New "Precious" ...thought I would share it with you

Good Day Gents,This has tamed my RAD for a while, I am amazed at the quality of this razor made in 1905.Looks like it was made yesterday. Can't seem to take my eyes off "My Precious"....Thought I would share it with everyone here.Have a great Fourth of July!

Now about that rad killer, i found mine about a month or Two ago, It was the 1947 Angelo American British Made Razor, That has put a hault on my Rad for sure )

Did you find this in an antique store? Bet they had no idea what they had there.

The ShaveWiki puts that Serial Number in 1905 ... Teddy Rooseveldt was President, the first Model T Ford was still 3 years in the future, and Albert Einstein first published his Theory of Relativity.

Really takes you back, huh? There's nothing like holding a piece of history in your hands ... except putting it to your face. How does it shave?

I haven't gotten around to shaving with it yet, still under it's spell, all I can seem to do is just look at it and feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I wish the case was also in good shape, but it did an excellent job of protecting the Double Ring inside from any major harm. So let's say I should shave with her (you already know that I gotta)...what blade would be best to use. With or without a shim...or??

No shim is necessary, in my opinion. Put your favorite blade in there and shave away. I'd use an Astra or a SuperMax SuperPlatinum or a Feather.
