What's new

My new 26mm TGN brush

The handle is a wooden door knob which seems to be similar to the Tweezerman wood. It already had a 28mm hole so I ordered a 26mm silvertip knot, placed a magnet and covered with white glue and after it dried, used epoxy to attach the knot. Hopefully I'll get to use it on Monday.

Thanks.
My 20 mm TGN knot holds enough for two passes with change. I bet this one should be quite a bit more.

The picture shows my 20 mm and the 26mm attached to cabinet by magnet inside the handle and another one glued on the inside. Obviously I can attach it upside down as well.

Shaved with it today for the first time. It makes a large amount of lather but most notable is the temperature of the lather kept pretty hot for the second pass. This is the first brush I find that stinks a little but I bet it will vanish in another shave or two.

Thanks.
I had to post the 26mm compared to the Tweezerman. It looks like a brush on steroids. Because the knot is placed quite deep, the bloom isn't so developed.

Nice job. I also did a resto with a 26mm TGN. Back row on the left. Back row on the right is a 28mm TGN. Back row in the middle is a Rudey Vey original also a 26mm I thought but may be a 24.

That's quite a collection. What's the acrylic/perspex one in the front row?
